Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Operation not possible. MMU has filament loaded | Gate sensor configured incorrectly or false positive | Comment out MMU_GATE_SENSOR if you do not have a separate gate sensor. |
| Missing variables in mmu_vars.cfg | Known saved variables generation issue | Add mmu__revision = 0 to the saved variables file. |
| Pre-gate sensor does not change | Wrong pin or pull-up convention | Check the pin mapping and the ^ pull-up in mmu_hardware.cfg. |
| Cam ear never presses correctly | Belt/camshaft alignment issue | Loosen belt, realign camshaft, redo empirical calibration. |
| Filament does not reach toolhead sensor | Gear calibration or friction problem | Redo gear calibration and inspect PTFE tunnels/idler doors. |
